What is a personal chef?
A Personal Chef is someone in charge of the kitchen who prepares palate specific meals for their clients to enjoy later. Busy, time-starved families and individuals hire a personal chef in order to eat healthier and to enjoy more quality time either together or doing the things they love.
What should you expect?
Upon calling or emailing me, we will set up a free initial consultation. This is where I find out your specific wants and needs. We will go over what foods and flavors you like or dislike. Obviously I will need to know if you are allergic to any food or substance. These are they types of things that will be discussed. If you decide to go ahead and hire me, then a more extensive interview would follow.

The only thing that you will need to provide is kitchen counter space. I will provide the rest. However, to save time if you have no objection, then a benefit would be to allow me to use certain kitchen appliances of yours. If you are not comfortable with that, then I am certainly capable of bringing my own.
Like a typical personal chef service I plan the menu, do the grocery shopping, prepare the food and do the dreaded clean up. However, being that the food is raw and therefore very perishable, there are some additional considerations that should be taken into account.
It is best to consume the food as soon as possible. Not that you have to eat it all in one day, but it should be eaten within 3 to 4 days for the best tasting results. Some dishes will certainly last longer, but the idea is to eat the food at it's freshest. I will make a special note if there is a dish that should be eaten sooner rather than later. I also try to keep most dressings and marinades on the side with simple instructions for you to complete the dish. These are just little tricks that I've learned so as to keep the food tasting it's best.
